Follow the life a a Wood Frog (Rana sylvatica) as it goes from egg to breeding adult. Throughout the story it encounters real life challenges as we watch the seasons go by. At one point there is a close call with a raccoon. At another, it gets picked up by a child, who after giving it a kiss on the nose, sets it free.
While the drawing and text convey an accurate depiction of a Wood Frog's life, it is the author's hope that the story will also help the reader gain empathy for these creatures.
